Longbranch is a special treat. It’s survival through COVID is a testament to it’s staying power. Terrific staff. The kitchen is under new leadership that is making an impact on the dining experience ably assisted by a strong mixology team at the bar who delivered fantastic cocktails. Don’t miss their classic “Remember the Maine.” OMG it’s good..
We have been here many times before, and will be back for more! The staff is so friendly and helpful. ☺️ The food is soooo good, it taste so clean! But with so much flavor! 😋 The cocktails, oh my goodness soo creative and yummy, hard to just have one! I had the grilled shrimp entree, definitely recommend if you want some light but also tasty and fulfilling ✨ the grilled chicken sandwich is a must try!! Can't go wrong with the little gem lettuce and hand cut fries 🥰 oh and desert is a must have! Especially the mason jar brownie 😋😋🤌🤌
Great food in a pub like setting..huge steak with potatoes for $38 or juicy fresh cheese burger with crispy fries -less than $20( provolone or cheddar)- great value for a hungry student!

One of my favorite places to go!!! Best before it's late, or in the old days was best ~10-11pm. Great place to get some drinks, or get some food, or just hang out! The vibe is great, and service is always super helpful.
My first time here. I had the cheese curds, ribeye (med-rare, substituting a buttered pasta side [$5 extra] for potatoes and requesting sour cream, for which they substituted creme fresh) and nectarine cornmeal cake, with a KetelOne Martini and an on tap stout. Sadly, the pasta was way overcooked, but still delicious....how can butter and olive oil go wrong. The homemade sauces with the curds were amazing, particularly the jam, which they should bottle. The steak was perfectly cooked. The dessert could use more nectarines and creme fresh, or better yet ice cream, and was excellent. The stout was nice, but I'd like the martini in a traditional glass and a bit more volume and chill. All in all, I would come back and try more menu items. I was sad they didn't have the Saturday happy hour anymore. The servers were very attentive and pleasant.

I used to dine here pre-pandemic every time I was in Berkeley. That was every two or three weeks then. I am back in Berkeley every month or so now and have returned to this spot. The hours and menu are limited as Berkeley has not fully opened. I must say I find it a great friendly spot. The food is delicious and the bar tenders know how to mix a great cocktail. It's back on my list every time I am here. They have some killer fried anchovy olives that are Perfecto with a martini to start. Their daily pasta special never disappoints.
